Eagle Management Group (“Eagle”) promotes Garrett Wingard to City Manager for the Miami, Florida, region. Wingard brings more than 15 years of industry experience to Eagle. He is replacing retired city manager Brian Fisher. Garrett and Brian worked alongside one another for more than a year, allowing him to prepare for this new role. Eagle is confident Garrett will honor and continue Brian’s legacy of great work and attention to client satisfaction.
Raised in a family that worked in the construction industry, Garrett found his passion for building and creating at a young age, joining his dad on job sites since he was 6 years old. He attended trade school where he studied electrical work. After school, he went to work for the family business as a finish carpenter. Moving to Miami in 2006, he joined a custom exhibit house where he worked as a lead carpenter and traveling supervisor, all the while contracting Eagle as his labor partner. In 2018, Garrett started working as a local freelance carpenter and in 2021, he joined the Eagle team.
Garrett’s professional history and industry knowledge make him the perfect fit for Eagle. His construction and shop background, strong work ethic and upbeat personality will help him lead the Miami team long into the future.
“When Garrett first started working with us, we knew that he would quickly rise through the ranks and move into a leadership position. His attention to detail and enthusiasm will allow a smooth transition into this new role,” comments President David Holloway.
“Garrett Wingard is a breath of fresh air. He has been in our industry for a long time and gained valuable skills and perspective from working for a custom exhibit house for over a decade. He fits in perfectly at Eagle, and we’re excited to watch him succeed as Miami’s City Manager,” says vice president of operations Arthur Ximenes.
