RX Global, an events and exhibitions organizer, will launch the Hardlines Supplier Event (HSE) March 9-10, 2027, in Las Vegas. The new tradeshow will focus on connecting hardlines buyers with manufacturers and suppliers.
RX says it developed HSE in response to changing sourcing demands. The event will help buyers identify suppliers, compare their capabilities, and find new manufacturing partners.
The two-day show will cover tools, hardware, home improvement, lawn and garden, outdoor living, storage, plumbing, and electrical products. Other categories include sporting and recreational goods, housewares, and automotive products.
HSE will place an emphasis on matchmaking rather than relying only on traditional show-floor discovery. Buyers will provide information about their sourcing needs before the event. Suppliers, meanwhile, will submit profiles outlining their manufacturing capabilities.
The Supplier Review program will use that information to recommend potential matches and meetings. Buyers can then compare suppliers based on certifications, production capacity, sourcing regions, order flexibility, and their ability to grow production.
Hector Morfin, event director, says the program is designed to reduce the time buyers spend searching for potential partners.
“We’re moving beyond the traditional VIP model to create a program centered on purposeful introductions, supplier discovery and measurable sourcing outcomes,” Morfin says. “Our goal is simple: help buyers spend less time searching and more time building the supplier relationships that will drive their business forward.”
Buyer programs emphasize matchmaking
HSE will also introduce the HSE Executive Circle. The invitation-only program targets senior sourcing leaders from retailers and consumer brands.
Members will receive personalized agenda planning, supplier introductions, networking opportunities, and dedicated meeting experiences. In addition, some qualified participants may receive hosted travel benefits. Those benefits will depend on participation in meetings and networking activities.
Supplier Xchange will provide another matchmaking opportunity. The program will organize buyer-supplier sessions based on product categories, manufacturing capabilities, sourcing priorities, and business needs.
For suppliers, HSE will provide access to retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and brands looking for manufacturing and private-label partners.
Conference program addresses sourcing issues
HSE will include its conference program with attendee registration.
Sessions will address supplier discovery and evaluation, sourcing strategy, private-label growth, and product development. Other topics will include manufacturing trends, consumer insights, and supply-chain resilience.
The launch adds another sourcing event to RX’s global portfolio. RX says it produces about 350 events each year across 42 industry sectors in 25 countries. The company is part of RELX.
The Hardlines Supplier Event is a sourcing-focused tradeshow for the hardlines industry produced by RX. The inaugural event will take place March 9-10, 2027, in Las Vegas. For more information, visit hardlinessupplierevent.com.
