Financial & Insurance Conference Professionals (FICP) has named Jamie Murdock president, effective Sept. 22.
The appointment follows a national executive search led by FICP’s Search Committee and Board of Directors.
Murdock brings more than 25 years of hospitality and meetings industry experience. He joins FICP from Maritz, where he most recently served as managing vice president of sales and industry presence. He had held that role since 2016 after serving in other senior sales and leadership positions.
As president, Murdock will work with the FICP Board of Directors, members, hospitality partners, and association management partner Smithbucklin. His initial priorities will include member and partner engagement, professional development, and industry thought leadership.
“Jamie brings the leadership experience, industry perspective and collaborative approach we were seeking in FICP’s next president,” says Lori Allen, chair of the FICP Board of Directors.
Murdock is expected to meet members and industry partners at the 2026 FICP Annual Conference, scheduled for Nov. 15-18 at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans.
