The Hutton Group – Inspired Meetings & Events has named Alexis Pollins Mitchell destination services manager. She joins the Pittsburgh-based team after three years with VisitPITTSBURGH.
In the new role, Pollins Mitchell will support destination management services and business development. She will build relationships with hotels, vendors, and local organizations. In addition, she will coordinate transportation, group dining, off-site excursions, and entertainment. She will also develop event itineraries and destination guides.
“Alexis brings a wealth of hospitality and destination expertise to our team,” said Jill Garcia, chief executive officer and owner. “Her deep knowledge of the Pittsburgh market, combined with her hospitality experience and strong industry relationships, will strengthen our destination management capabilities and support our continued growth.”
Pollins Mitchell is a Pittsburgh native. She earned a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management with a minor in event planning from Kent State University in 2018.
She began her career coordinating events for the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce. Later, she joined the event sales team that helped launch Topgolf Pittsburgh.
Most recently, Pollins Mitchell served as executive meetings manager for VisitPITTSBURGH. There, she worked with meetings, conventions, and regional hospitality partners.
Outside the industry, Pollins Mitchell is a runner who completed the 2023 Pittsburgh Marathon. She and her family welcomed her first daughter this year.
