Cyclonix Inc., a creator of dynamic brand architecture, has promoted Lisa Borges to general manager. In her new position, Borges will oversee all departments including sales, design, operations and finance.
Borges joined Cyclonix two years ago as staff accountant. She immediately took on additional responsibility and over time her contributions expanded into a multi-faceted cross-departmental outreach.
Marty McGreevy, president of Cyclonix, says Borges’ leadership has enabled Cyclonix to streamline processes and become more operationally efficient.
“We believe in promoting from within so this is a natural next step for Lisa, who has proven invaluable in running our company,” says McGreevy.
Borges’ current efforts include increasing Cyclonix’s turnkey event production capabilities and formalizing the company’s efforts to integrate recycled and reused building materials. She is also proactive in creating opportunities for Cyclonix team members to expand their roles within the company.
“The employees of this company have so much talent,” said Borges. “Our collective goal is to leverage those talents in ways that people can contribute beyond the traditional bounds of their job descriptions.”
Prior to joining Cyclonix, Borges was a senior accountant with CDS Technologies. She graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor’s degree in recreation management with a concentration in finance.
