Paving the way for continued successes, the Board of Governors of Toronto’s Exhibition Place approved a multi-year strategic plan.
The plan calls highlights upcoming opportunities such as hosting the 2015 Pan/ParaPan American Games and the opening of the new 400-room Hotel X.
In addition, the board outlined seven strategic goals including business development, public space and infrastructure and environmental, among others.
According to Mark Grimes, chairman, Exhibition Place Board of Governors, the plan helps to guide the entire organization.
“This plan highlights Exhibition Place as a vibrant part of the city adding significantly to the economic health of Toronto and continuing its goal of financial responsibility and focus on environmental sustainability,” said Grimes.
Goals achieved from the previous 2009-2012 strategic plan include nearly-completely leased facilities, continued private investment interest and an improvement of facility landscaping.
