AFR Event Furnishings Acquires San Diego-Based Plush Lounge

In the midst of a significant expansion, AFR Event Furnishings has strengthened its position throughout California and the west coast by acquiring San Diego-based Plush Lounge Furniture Rental.

“The marriage between AFR and Plush Lounge is ideal,” says David Wright, founder of Plush Lounge. “Plush was a rapidly growing company, but only had a regional SoCal reach. When its doors opened in 2007, Wright, a former Marine helicopter pilot-turned-event professional and entrepreneur, set out to make Plush Lounge Southern California’s go-to rental furniture solution. Within four years, he built a respected brand that had the reputation for providing outstanding furnishings and customer service – a business philosophy right in line with AFR’s core values.
