CES Still King

CES-2

In its annual ranking of trade shows, Trade Show Executive has dubbed the International Consumer Electronics Show king once again, but this time with more than a million feet to spare between it and the next highest finisher. According to CES officials, the annual event weighed in at a whopping 2.47 million net square feet, dominating the majority of available exhibition surfaces in the city of Las Vegas and drawing a reported 170,000 people.

Other heavyweights in the exhibition world last year were the International Construction & Utility Equipment Exposition, which spanned 1.2 million net square feet, followed by the SEMA Show, MAGIC, and the Plastics Industry Show, which were each separated by negligible amounts in the 1.2-million-net-square-feet range.

Those shows head a list labeled the TSE Gold 100, which honors top shows in terms of space and growth each year at a fall gala event.
