ExCeL London Appoints Emma Charter as Marketing Manager

30ExCeL London has strengthened its marketing and communications team with the appointment of Emma Charter in the role of marketing manager.

Charter’s role will focus on conferences and events, with responsibility for the corporate and agency market, as well as association business, across the U.K., Europe and North America. She will also have marketing responsibility for CentrEd at ExCeL, the venue’s dedicated meeting and training facility.

Charter brings with her more than 10 years marketing and events industry experience, having worked for organizations including Clarion Events, Ocean Media Group and Upper Street Events.

Lucy Merritt, head of marketing & communications, says, “We are delighted to welcome Emma to the team. Across ExCeL and CentrEd, 2018 is already proving to be another successful year for conferences and events. Emma will be key to continuing our efforts, developing targeted campaigns for both venues, which are delivered to specific national and international audiences. Charter joins ExCeL’s Marketing team, alongside Julia Galbraith and Emily Morrison, reporting to Lucy Merritt.
