Two months into its new fiscal year, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) is seeing a significant uptick in membership.
This positive momentum is a strong but cautious indicator for continued growth in revenue and new member organizations that are joining to take advantage of the many benefits offered by the IAEE, according to association officials. Moving into 2013, the IAEE will sharpen its focus to provide members with the expertise, education and thought-leadership. Plans for new member programs will be announced early in 2013.
“I am very excited by this initial surge in our membership,” said David DuBois, president, IAEE. “There is no doubt that the staff has worked diligently to reach out to professionals in the exhibitions and events industry to tout the multitude of education and networking opportunities we offer that will help them succeed with their own events.”
The IAEE heads to Orlando Dec. 4-6 for Expo! Expo!, IAEE’s annual meeting and exhibition. Complete information will be shared as it is available as well as significant industry trends for 2013.
Since 1928, the IAEE has provided its members with leadership, service, education and strong relationships. The IAEE is the largest association of the exhibitions and events industry in the world, with a membership of show organizers, exhibitors and exhibition suppliers. Organizers of more than 20,000 exhibitions and buyer-seller events around the world are members of IAEE.
