VisitLEX received the “Best 10’ x 20’ Booth” award at the 2016 HCEAConnect event on August 16, 2016. Nimlok Kentucky assisted Team Cornett – VisitLEX’s creative agency – in creating the award-winning booth.
Nimlok, a division of Orbus Exhibit & Display Group, and exclusive Louisville-based distributor, Nimlok Kentucky, are proud to announce that one of their exhibits was named “Best 10’ x 20’ Booth” at the 2016 Healthcare Convention & Exhibitors Association HCEAConnect event held in Savannah, Ga., August 14-16, 2016.
VisitLEX, the primary tourism organization for Lexington, KY, needed better representation at conventions and events. VisitLEX’s creative agency – Team Cornett – partnered with Nimlok Kentucky to create several exhibit concepts that would achieve this goal.
“The real challenge was to take Team Cornett’s ideas and turn them into actual, workable exhibits,” said Glenn Grizzle, senior account manager at Nimlok Kentucky. “We are so proud that VisitLEX’s 10’ x 20’ exhibit won ‘Best of Show’ at its first event! It was a great way to start off their new exhibiting program.”
The annual HCEAConnect event brings together healthcare event planning professionals looking to refine and improve the results and effectiveness of their own healthcare convention marketing events. VisitLEX’s 10’ x 20’ exhibit not only showcased the benefits of Lexington as a host city for healthcare industry events, but also incorporated Lexington charm to create a memorable exhibit for visitors.
VisitLEX’s exhibit featured powerful data illustrating the benefits of hosting events in Lexington, while also showcasing Lexington’s rich history in horse farms, equestrian centers and bourbon production.
“The authentic bourbon barrel tops and southern-style picture frames showcased Lexington in a memorable way,” said Grizzle. “We are very proud to have created a small 10’ x 20’ booth with such big personality.”
