Reed Exhibitions announces that Jamie Harrison has been named vice president of product development for Reed Exhibitions. Harrison replaces Richard Remington, who left the company to join sister company Elsevier as the managing director of submissions systems and analytics. Harrison will report to Brian Brittain, chief technology officer for Reed Exhibitions.

Harrison has been with the company for 11 years, rising from the U.K. e-marketing department to vice president of product development for Reed Exhibitions.  In his new role, he will oversee product development in Reed Exhibitions focusing specifically on customer facing services, including the web platform Atlas, in order to drive revenue and efficiencies, continuous learning and improvement using data-driven methodologies.

Harrison has been a digital professional since 1996. He has been a specialist in the events industry since 2001 and has worked with some of the U.K.’s leading organizers before starting at Reed Exhibitions.
