An industry veteran joined Tradeshow Logic, a full-service event solutions firm, as vice president of event operations.
The company created this new position for Donna Karl, CMP, in response to tremendous growth— the meeting and event management segment of its business has doubled annually since 2010.
“At Tradeshow Logic, our goal is to increase the value of the events we work on. We selected Donna because she raises the bar on every meeting she manages,” said B. J. Enright, president, Tradeshow Logic.
Over 30 years, Karl developed her skills, including a great eye for eliminating unnecessary layers. Her expertise encompasses all facets of the industry—from association meeting planner to destination marketing professional.
“My goals are to elevate the attendee experience by producing quality content and events—all while streamlining costs for our clients,” said Karl.
She has owned her own consulting firm; served as vice president of client relations for the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau; and produced over 450 meetings per year (one with annual attendance of 12,000) as director of convention and meeting services for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She started in the industry at Compusystems where she developed and executed customized registration and lead retrieval services.
